# Changing your header type

You can change the type of your header from the **Template Editor**of your help center in [HelpCenter.io](http://HelpCenter.io).

1. Once you are in your help center dashboard, click on the **gear** icon from the main dashboard menu on the left and choose **Customize.**

  This would open up the **Template Editor**of your help center where you can customize your header type.
2. Open the option sidebar by clicking the customize icon in the top toolbar:

3. In the sidebar that would open on the right, navigate to **Header**and below **Header Style**choose the type of header that your prefer for your help center.
