# How do I get a free migration?

Request it on our free migration page, and our migration team moves your existing help center to HelpCenter.io for you. Free migration is included with the Growth and Catalyst plans.

1. Go to [helpcenter.io/free-migration](https://helpcenter.io/free-migration) and click **Start your migration**.
2. Under **Where does your help center live today?**, pick your platform, or **Something else** if it isn't listed. Click **Continue**.
3. Enter your current help center's address under **Its address**, then answer **Roughly how many articles?** and **In how many languages?**
4. Under **Anything we should plan around?**, mention a deadline, private articles or a new domain. This one is optional. Click **Continue**.
5. Enter **Your name** and **Work email**, then click **Start my migration**.

We review your knowledge base and tell you how long the move will take. Most migrations are done in under a week. If you'd like your new help center to look like your old one, ask for that in your request too. Prefer email? Write to migrate@helpcenter.io.
