Enhancing your categories with icons or images can help make your HelpCenter.io knowledge base more visually appealing and user-friendly. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to do it:

1. Accessing the Modal: To begin, open the create or update modal for the category you wish to modify. This is where you’ll make the necessary changes.

2. Choosing the Image Type: In the modal, you’ll find an option to choose the image type for your category. You have two options: a FontAwesome icon or an image upload. Choose the one that suits your needs best.

3. FontAwesome Icon: If you decide to use a FontAwesome icon, a search field will appear once you make your selection. Type in the name of the icon you’d like to use, and select it from the results that appear.

4. Image Upload: If you’d rather use a custom image, select the image upload option. This allows you to either upload an image directly from your device or enter the URL of an image that you’ve previously uploaded elsewhere. Make sure the image you choose is clear, professional, and relevant to the category.

Once you’ve made your selection, simply save your changes. The selected icon or image will now appear next to your category, providing a visual cue that can help users navigate your knowledge base more easily. Always remember, a picture is worth a thousand words, and the right visual can significantly enhance user engagement and comprehension.
